We toured the Columbia River Gorge from Portland Oregon heading east to Hood River.  The Columbia River flows along the boarder between Oregon and Washington State.  The cliffs on the Oregon side rise up to 4,000 feet above the Columbia River.  Along those cliffs are over 75 waterfalls.  The gorge is known for the gusty winds that blow east and up the river.
