Stift Mmelk (Melk Abby) - A Baroque-era masterpiece situated high upon a rocky outcrop. The dome extends 208 feet above the base and is guarded by two twin towers. The abbey's history dates back to 1089 and the current building as we see it today was reconstructed in 1736.
