The High Adventure Club hiked 6.4 miles along the Appalachian Trail and the Pole Steeple Trail. Members of the hike included Animal, Gadget, Fire and Ice. The hike started in Pine Grove Furnace State Park and continued East on the AT past Fuller Lake and along Mountain Creek. The weather was perfect. The hike continued up the AT toward Pole Steeple. Here we past the Half-way point of the Appalachian Trail. We made entries in the log book at the sign before continuing our climb. We left the AT and continued on the Pole Steeple Blue blaze trail. At Pole Steeple, the hikers took a break for lunch. Following lunch, they continued down the face of the cliffs and the Pole Steeple trail to Laurel Lake. At the lake they headed West along the old railroad bed and Mountain Creek back to the Furnace.
