April 2000 - Mountain Bikes in Betula, PA

The High Adventure Club assembled in late April, 2000 to do some Mountain Bike riding in the northern part of Pennsylvania.

Camp Spud locater in Betula was the base camp for the riders during their three day trip.

Ken, Mark, Joe, and Bob get started at Camp Spud.

The team of riders included:

Ken - Duck
Mark Kaehler - Birdman
Joe Kaehler - Zenith
Bob Zinn - Gadget

Zenith and Gadget began their riding on Friday and logged about 15 miles. The Weather for the weekend was fabulous with temperatures between 65 and 75 degrees. Birdman and Duck joined them for two rides on Saturday.

The logging trail makes a great path for mountain bikes. Logging roads make great trails for mountain bikes.
Ken leads the group through the valley. Duck leads the group through the valley.
Bob pulls his way up the hills. Gadget pulls his way up the hills.
Mark speeds his way down the long trail and through the woods. Birdman speeds his way down the long trail and through the woods.

Ken was fishing. Ken Zinn was at the camp for a fishing weekend. His net is empty because he enjoys the catch and release.
