May 1, 2002. 10.30 miles from South Kaibab Trail head to Sumner Wash
May 2, 2002. 6.70 miles from Sumner Wash to Clear Creek
May 3, 2002. 5.72 miles from Clear Creek to Anasazi Ruins and back.
May 4, 2002. 15.72 miles from Clear Creek to Indian Gardens.(9.67+6.05)
May 5, 2002. 4.96 miles from Indian Gardens to Bright Angel Trail head.
Total miles. 43.4 miles
The explorers show below include Tony Palaia, Art Palaia, Mike Palaia, Ed Ramsey, and Bob Zinn. They just finished their expedition on May 5 at 12:00 Noon at the Bright Angel Trail head on the south rim.
